Landa Uffelman (Lead Vocals, Guitar)

Picture
Landa was born and raised in Hardin, MT and graduated from Montana State University Billings with a degree in Elementary Education, but instead of teaching, she purchased her grandma's business and is now the owner of The Farmer's Daughter General Store and Soda Fountain in Hardin, MT. Landa began singing at a young age and her first big performance was singing at a wedding at the age of four. She joined the band when she was a sophomore in high school and has been with them since! Landa's "claim to fame" was having the opportunity to sing a duet with Keith Urban at the Big Horn Country U.S.A. festival in Sheridan Wyoming (check it out on YouTube!).

Gary Lehman (Lead Guitar, Vocals)

Picture
Gary, born and raised in Hardin, spends his extra time helping neighbors, mostly with farming and ranching. While attending college in Bozeman, Gary worked at Gibson Guitar where he mostly buffed guitars, but also learned everything there is to know about a guitar. He had the opportunity to work on guitars for celebrities such as Sheryl Crow, Kid Rock, Michelle Branch, and Dwight Yoakam. Gary received his Business Degree at Montana State University Billings and works as a Credit Analyst at First Interstate Bank. He still manages to dedicate a majority of his time to Exit 53.

Gale Link (Bass Guitar)

Picture
Gale, also born and raised in Hardin, grew up playing music, but played rhythm and lead guitar. It wasn't until joining Exit 53 (who was in need of a bass player at the time) that Gale tried his hand at Bass Guitar. Being retired from Pepsi-Co/Frito Lay allows Gale more time to enjoy his outdoor hobbies, visit his grandchildren, and spend the weekends traveling with the band. Gale has been with Exit 53 for over 8 years now.

Tyson Bauwens (Drummer)

Picture
Tyson was born and raised in the Fromberg/Edgar area and has been playing drums since 5th grade. He played in a couple bands over the years, but becoming a dad of two beautiful girls became top priority. Tyson has spent many days farming with family and enjoys drinking some ice cold Coors Originals (although sometimes he has to drink Coors Lights with us!)
Even though he plays country, he has a deep passion for some 80's rock! Tyson works for Carbon County and has weekends off, allowing him the time for gigs every weekend!
